Each event is gifted a whakataukī which forms the theme for the event and centres the panel discussion around a topic of leadership. The panel discussion is designed to be interactive and engaging, so speak up!
Time for you
Panelists and guests are curated from a group of women across Bay of Plenty business and governance networks, with careful attention paid to the diversity of the industry, organisation and ethnicity. There are some amazing wahine hiding out here, lets get out and connect with each other.

Locations are chosen specifically to get your out of your corporate comfort zone. We are blessed with some beautiful spots nestled around the Bay region that create the space for more intimate opportunities to connect.

HOW IT WORKS
Softly curated panel discussions
This isn’t your typical ‘guest speaker’ event, nor is it your opportunity to sit passively and listen.
At each event, members from within the Butterfly Effect community will be invited to join the panel to share their journey of leadership around central, relevant themes related to our whakataukī. We create a relaxed and engaging environment, to elevate the stories of those in the room; encouraging conversations while deepening relationships.
You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in experiences, share learnings, and give yourself the time and space to make new connections.
